NDT Applications Engineer (m/f/d)

What you can expect

Assist applications team in carrying out feasibility studies for customer and research projects
Training and demonstrations on our systems-remotely and at regional customer sites
Develop and maintain training materials including videos, user manuals, presentations, and workshops
Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to users post-training
Gather feedback from trainees and clients to improve training programs
Collaborate with corporate software and applications teams to be the voice of our customers and assure our product compliance with standards
Close cooperation with the sales department in the implementation of customer requirements
US region resource for implementation of new technologies (software / hardware)
Commissioning of X-ray systems (from an application and software training perspective)
Supporting the AI department, including training the AI
Attendance at industry conferences will be required

What you should bring

Completed studies in the technical field or technical training with additional qualification as a materials tester (m/f/d) in NDT (X-ray) ASNT LIII preferred
Experience in the field of X-ray technology or NDT/material testing required
Training according to DIN EN ISO 9712 or DIN EN 4179 at least RT D level 2, other procedures desirable
Radiation protection certificate is an advantage
High level of technical understanding
Knowledge of regulations, standards and customer specifications
IT and software skills (MS Office, databases, image analysis)
Ability to work in a team, independent, structured and autonomous way of working
Confident appearance in front of customers
Willingness to travel and driving license
Very good written and spoken English
